Our story so far

Long Walk began with two old friends and a four-hour walk. Stuck in Australia when Covid closed the world in 2020, Colin fell hard for Sydney's speciality coffee scene — and came home to Scotland obsessed. One call to Gareth, one long walk, and a speciality roaster was born. Three years on, we're still chasing great coffee and doing it our way.

That starts with sourcing. From the beginning we wanted partners who share our values and support the communities where coffee grows. Today we work with Caribbean Goods, Cofinet and Equatorial Traders.

Our flagship, Hunbatz, comes from Javier at Caribbean Goods — grown collectively by 1,500 smallholders in Guatemala. Pooling their harvest means consistently excellent coffee and a fair price for every farmer, with protection from the swings of each season. We think it's really special.
