when we tried this coffee of the first time we new it was a banger!
Natural processed Cattura which is usually more known as a basic style crop. recently farmers like César Buesaquillo have been treating this variety with some serous love and the product of that is an absolute tongue slapper of a coffee.
the Fig, Orange and redcurrant notes in the cup are sensational. the cup is clean and sweet with balanced acidity.
Grown in nutrient rich volcanic soils.
About the Farmer and Farm
César Buesaquillo is a Colombian coffee producer from Buenavista, Quindío, who owns Finca La Esmeralda, a six-hectare farm at 1,800 metres above sea level. He transitioned from traditional farming to specialty coffee, cultivating unique varieties like Pink Bourbon and Gesha, and experimenting with natural processing methods. His efforts have led to high-quality coffees with distinctive flavours, supported by technical assistance from Cofinet.

A banging coffee which is bursting with flavour. our preference is filter but it makes one of the most fantastic espressos we have had in a while.
