when we sampled it a few weeks ago we new from the first cup it was a something special.
the subtle flavours of the washed coffee are just delicious.

We sourced this coffee from Lino Menor who owns and operates the Farm that gives the coffee its name Finca La Babilla,
Lino was Brought up on the 2 hectare farm in the northern part of Peru in the Cajamarca. his small farm is family run with the addition of seasonal labour at harvest time.
the family believes that the farm should remain as manual an operation as possible allowing them to maintain the quality controls they are known for. the family has operated the farm for generations and believe wholeheartedly that knowledge passed generational is better than it going to a large farm model.
this coffee has been roasted for filter and we have been having exceptional results using the Ceado Hoop
